Privacy Policy

Status Saver is designed with privacy as its core principle. This policy explains what data we handle — and more importantly, what we don't.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. We do not have user accounts, analytics trackers, or cloud servers.

2. Local Processing Only

All WhatsApp statuses are read from your device's local storage and saved to your device's gallery. No media is ever uploaded to external servers.

3. Permissions

The app requests storage permissions solely to access WhatsApp's status folder and save media to your gallery. These permissions are used exclusively for the app's core functionality.

4. Background Work

Auto-Save uses Android's WorkManager to periodically check for new statuses. This process runs entirely on your device without network access.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data according to Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
