Grant Access
When prompted, allow access to the WhatsApp media folder (Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/Media/.Statuses). On Android 11+, this uses Scoped Storage for your security.
Browse & Select
Open the app to see all available statuses organized by Photos, Videos, Audio, and Documents. Use multi-select to batch save your favorites.
Save & Enjoy
Tap save to store statuses in your gallery. Enable Auto-Save in settings to automatically backup all future statuses in the background.

Does the app upload my data?
Absolutely not. All media processing happens locally on your device. We have no servers and collect zero personal data.
Does it work with WhatsApp Business?
Yes! Status Saver supports both standard WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business media folders.
Why can't I see some statuses?
Make sure you've viewed the status in WhatsApp first (so it's cached), and that you've granted the correct folder permissions.
